Multi-layer high-pressure balloon tubing

In order to manufacture high-quality balloons, you must start with outstanding balloon tubing. AccuPath®‘s balloon tubing is extruded from high-purity materials using special processes to hold tight OD and ID tolerances and control mechanical properties, such as elongation for better yields. Additionally, AccuPath®‘s engineering team also forms balloons, thus ensuring the proper balloon tubing specifications and processes are designed to meet the end-user requirements.

Applications

Balloon tubing is a key component of a catheter due to its unique properties. It is now widely used in angioplasty, valvuloplasty, and other balloon catheter applications.

Technical Capacity

Precision dimensions
● The minimum outer diameter of the double-layer balloon tubing we provide can reach 0.01inch, with a tolerance of ± 0.0005inch for both inner and outer diameters, and a minimum wall thickness of 0.001inch.
● The concentricity of the double-layer balloon tubing we provide can reach over 95%, and there is excellent bonding performance between the inner and outer layers.
Various materials available for selection
● According to different product designs, the double-layer balloon material tube can be selected from different inner and outer layer materials, such as PET series, Pebax series, PA series, and TPU series.
Excellent mechanical properties
● The double-layer balloon tube we provide has a very small range of elongation and tensile (Range control ≤100%).
● The double-layer balloon tube we provide has high resistance to burst pressure and fatigue strength.

Quality Assurance

● We use ISO 13485 quality management system as a guide to continuously optimize and improve our product manufacturing processes and 10 thousand class cleaning-room.
